In this session, we will get to know some initiatives and programs from Tongji University (Shanghai) and Aalto University (Helsinki) that revolutionize traditional educational structures. We will discuss the opportunities in learning and innovation within extended ecosystems, from both the perspective of bottom-up (user innovation) and top-down (incremental innovation). Topics include resources sharing (both physical and digital), 4 C’s learning skills, innovative ecosystems and communities, design thinking, etc. The session would be useful for stakeholders of innovation ecosystems in academia and industry.
